Federal University of Roraima. Academic public institution in the state of Roraima in northern Brazil. It is one of the youngest federal universities of Higher Education in the country. It was created on September 8, 1989.

Creation

Authorized by Law No. 7364, of September 12, 1985, it was actually created four years later with Decree No. 98,127, on September 8, 1989.

Campus

It has 3 campuses all located in the capital city of Boa Vista

  • Campus Paricarana
  • Campus Caume
  • Alto Alegre Campus

Courses

It currently has 42 undergraduate courses, between bachelor’s and bachelor’s degrees, 10 own master’s courses in different areas of knowledge, as well as inter-institutional doctorate programs.
